Timaru Sewing Centre - Inspiring Creativity
December included a demonstration of Janome's FM725 Felting/Embellishing machine showing how to create interesting flowers from wool roving, chiffon and organza to make a unique Christmas wreath (still a work in progress as pictured).
Plus a re-cap on stitching buttons on by machine using the Button Sew Foot T + the optional 'shank' tool. Other simple project ideas for buttons where also on display with a Christmas flavour.
Fran showed us how to create a very clever Christmas decoration by bagging out a circle and manipulating to create a 'folded' square. Thank you Fran!
We held our annual great Christmas decoration exchange - very exciting! (please see some of the amazing decorations pictured below).
What a great way to end the year with lots of laughs, good food and good company - thank you ladies!
