Miracle Stitching Foot
The miracle stitching foot looks a little similar to the darning foot and can be used to zig-zag over yarns to create ‘pictures’. Once stitched a small wire brush is used to ‘fluff’ the yarn up and make it look more like a piece of fabric with a nap.
This technique can also be used on an embroidery machine and is called ‘brush-out embroidery’. There are special embroidery designs made to accommodate the yarn.
Samples will be on display along with a demonstration of the miracle stitching foot on a normal sewing machine.
